first parade in U.S

we watched annual Venice parade from 6pm to 8:30. Found 2 things, American's patriotism is umcomparable, every time when uniformed army marched by, the old-old man (90 sth)sits next to me would stand up, hats off, salutate. How many people in China would do that, if the same situation happened?! Amercians really like pets, especially dogs, they take them every where with kids. This is the coutry of honor(had gorgous achievement in last centry), the country believe in hard-working and create mircle. Everything would be possible in this land. Go to the right place, work hard. Maybe come back after I made fortune.
